This upcoming Netflix limited series is shrouded in so much secrecy that a title hasn’t even been announced yet. Nicknamed the “Untitled Newfoundland Project,” the mysterious show, which is set in Newfoundland, Canada, is already making waves with its casting announcements and plot synopsis, despite few other details. Josh Hartnett (“Oppenheimer,” “The Virgin Suicides”) will star in the lead role; Charlie Heaton (“Stranger Things”) and Joshua Close (“Fargo”) have also been cast. The six-episode project is being led by creator Jesse McKeown, who previously worked on the streamer’s “The Umbrella Academy”; he’s also the showrunner and an executive producer.
