From award winners to new projects, here’s our roundup of Netflix casting calls and other great streaming gigs looking for talent.
A24/HBO Max: “Martha & Muhammad”
Casting has begun for “Martha & Muhammad,” an A24 feature film written and directed by Ramy Youssef and starring Youssef and Sharon Stone. Two Middle Eastern or West African actors, aged 25–50, are sought for the supporting roles of Mamadou, a devout Muslim immigrant and close friend of Muhammad, and Amina, a lawyer handling immigration cases and the cousin of Mamadou. The actor playing Mamadou must speak English as a second language. Production is also seeking New York City-based talent, aged 18–80, to portray Muslims at a mosque in background roles. Supporting talent will work in New York City between Nov. 23 and Jan. 20, and background talent will work on Dec. 16 with a possible fitting prior. Supporting talent will be paid under a SAG-AFTRA contract with rates to be negotiated. Background pay is $231 to $400.

Netflix: “The Roman”
Roman Candle Casting is continuing its search for talent for “The Roman,” an upcoming Netflix casino series starring Oscar Isaac and produced by Martin Scorsese. Production is seeking talent, aged 8–75, to play gamblers and clubgoers, as well as a featured child role. Talent will work in NYC through December. Pay is $187 to $231 per day.

Disney+: “Out the Kitchen”
Grant Wilfley Casting is currently seeking background talent for a major returning streaming series. A Latina or white actor, age 21–40, is now sought for a photo double. Talent must meet all physical specifications. Filming is scheduled for Oct. 30–31 in New York City. Pay is $270 per day.

Netflix: “Temptation Island”
K. Brooks Casting is seeking real outgoing and dynamic couples and singles, aged 21–35, to be featured on the Netflix reality series “Temptation Island.” Talent will work in Spring 2027 in a tropical location TBD. Travel, lodging, and food will be provided.

Paramount+: “912”
Casting continues for an upcoming Paramount+ limited series starring Jeremy Strong and following ailing 9/11 first responders’ David vs. Goliath legal fight for compensation. Production is seeking talent, aged 6–55, for various background roles, including kids at a party, the grandsons of a principal role, and more. Talent will work in New York City on select dates in October, depending on the role. Pay is $187–$231, plus a $100 makeup bump if applicable.

Amazon: “Nanny Cam”
Roman Candle Casting is seeking talent for “Nanny Cam,” an Amazon MGM feature film. Black twins and triplets, aged 12–24 months, are sought to play a single child in a background role. Talent will work in NYC for up to 10 days from October through December. Pay is $1,000 per day per child with travel and accommodations provided.

“Boyfriends”
Casting is underway for “Boyfriends,” a new film for a major streaming service that follows two high school boys who fall in love before they know what to do with it. Nationwide actors, aged 18–60, are wanted for several roles in the film, including Ed, the co-lead. Filming is scheduled for September and October in Kentucky. Pay is undisclosed by the production, but roles are paid, and production will also cover round-trip travel and accommodations.
