A narrative short film is casting for its February shoot in Los Angeles. Production is looking for a lead female actor, aged 18–30, to play Lauren and a lead male actor, aged 18–30, to play Jay. Both roles pay a flat rate of $250 for an estimated single day of work.

“On a String”

A union and nonunion feature film is casting for its April 17–May 5 shoot in New York. Production is looking for a supporting female actor, aged 21–28, to play Christine and a supporting female actor, aged 7–10, to play Rachel. The role of Christine pays a flat rate of $2,592 for an estimated 12 days of work. The role of Rachel pays a flat rate of $432 for an estimated two days of work. Please note that both roles require violin-playing skills.

“Omissions”

A short film is casting for its Feb. 24–26 shoot near Ghent, New York, and Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Production is looking for a lead male actor, aged 28–38, to play John, a lead male actor, aged 25–29, to play Christopher, and a supporting female actor, aged 60 and older, to play Mary. The roles of John and Christopher pay $100 per day for an estimated two days of work plus $50 for a single rehearsal day. The role of Mary pays $100 for an estimated single day of work plus $50 for a single rehearsal day.

“Romeo and Juliet: The Rock Opera”

An indie feature film that is a modernization of the Shakespearean classic is casting for its late summer 2023 shoot in New York. Production is filling multiple roles, including a lead female actor, aged 16–21, to play Juliet, a lead male actor, aged 18–23, to play Romeo, and a supporting male actor, aged 20–25, to play Mercutio. All roles pay a flat rate of $6,000 for an estimated 20 days of work.

This five-episode mini-series is casting for its March 8–11 shoot in Los Angeles. Production is filling multiple roles, including a lead female actor, aged 27–37, to play Alicia, a lead female actor, aged 45–70, to play Betty, and a lead male actor, aged 45–70, to play Arthur. The roles of Alicia and Betty pay $150–$350 for an estimated three days of work. The role of Arthur pays $350 per day for an estimated single day of work.
