These Netflix Projects + Other Great Gigs Need Talent Now

Major streamers, such as Netflix and Max, are producing must-watch television series on a regular basis. From “Stranger Things” to “House of the Dragon,” there’s no shortage of critically acclaimed shows being watched— and being talked about. Do you hope to one day star in a hit series? Now is your chance to join a major project by auditioning for one of these gigs. From award winners to new series, here’s our roundup of HBO, Netflix, and more great gigs looking for talent.

Hulu: Undisclosed Major Series

A new Hulu series with a major cast is seeking background talent, aged 18 and up, to play lawyers, models, service staff, and more. Filming will take place through February 2025 in Los Angeles. Talent will be paid $140 per eight-hour day, or $216 per eight-hour day, depending on union status.

Galatea: “Broken”

The Galatea streaming series “Broken,” based on the romance novel of the same name by Evelyn Miller, is looking for male talent, aged 18–24, to play a handsome quarterback attending a private school; female talent, aged 30–45, to play a supportive single mom; and more. Shooting is Dec. 4–15 in L.A. Talent will be paid $240 per day.

HBO: “The Gilded Age,” Season 3

Grant Wilfley Casting is continuing its search for background talent in Season 3 of the HBO period drama series “The Gilded Age.” Black nonunion talent, aged 20–65, is wanted to portray ball guests. Fittings will take place on Nov. 15–22, followed by filming on Dec. 9–10 in Brooklyn, New York City. Production is also seeking female talent, aged 19–36, to portray 1880s school students and meeting attendees. Fittings for those roles will take place on Nov. 19-20, followed by filming on Dec. 11 and 16. Pay is $176–$210 per day, depending on union status, plus a fitting fee.

Peacock: “Poker Face”

Background casting continues for the second season of Peacock’s “Poker Face,” starring Natasha Lyonne. An Asian male actor, age 25–45, is wanted for a photo double. Talent must meet all physical requirements, including height and measurements. The photo double may be asked to lay on the ground to play dead and may have fake blood applied. Filming will take place on Nov. 19 in the NYC area. Pay is $253 for eight hours of work.

Vigloo: “Dangerous Liaisons”

Dangerous Liaisons,” an upcoming Vigloo original political drama series, is casting two L.A.-based actors, aged 24–32, for the lead roles. Filming will take place on Dec. 7–15. Pay is $400–$700 per day.

Prime Video: “Scarpetta”

Casting continues for the upcoming Amazon series “Scarpetta,” based on Patricia Cornwell’s novel series and starring Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis. A white Tennessee or Georgia-based male actor, age 25–45, is wanted as an ongoing stand-in for one of the principal actors. Talent must meet all physical requirements. Filming will take place through early March 2025 in Nashville. Pay is $189 per day for an estimated 20 days of work.
