In Wausau, Wisconsin, something strange occurs. On what becomes known as Revival Day, the recently dead suddenly return—fully conscious, fully aware, and forever changed. They’re not moaning for brains or decaying in alleyways; they’re picking up where they left off…sort of. As this unexplained phenomenon rocks the town, officer Dana Cypress (Melanie Scrofano, “Wynonna Earp”) must keep the peace and solve a murder—one in which the killer, victim, or witness could all be among the undead.
The 10-episode supernatural noir was shot in New Brunswick, Canada, and wrapped in late 2024 under co-showrunners Aaron B. Koontz and Luke Boyce.
A mix of seasoned talent and rising stars brings the eerie tale to life, including:
- Melanie Scrofano as Dana Cypress
- Romy Weltman as Martha “Em” Cypress
- David James Elliott as Sheriff Wayne Cypress
- Andy McQueen as Dr. Ibrahim Ramin
- Steven Ogg as Blaine Abel
- CM Punk as Anthony Check

Casting was led by John Buchan, Donna Rae Gibbs, and Jason Knight of Buchan Knight Casting, the award-winning Canadian team behind “Spotlight” and “The Witch.”
