Set before the events of 2022’s “The Terminal List,” which was adapted from Carr’s 2018 novel of the same name, “Dark Wolf” focuses on the early days of Ben Edwards’ (Kitsch) career. Who is the casting director for “The Terminal List: Dark Wolf”?

Longtime Hollywood CD Mary Vernieu (“The Last of Us,” “Glass Onion”) collaborated with

Nicola Chisholm (“Fleabag”) and Sydney Shircliff (“Knives Out,” “The Better Sister”) for the project. Vernieu shared some helpful casting advice for actors when she spoke with us after the release of “Knives Out.”

“Do the work, have a good attitude, and I always say leave the work in the room, because there are a million reasons why someone doesn’t get a part, and a lot of times it doesn’t have anything to do with them,” she explained. “I think it’s important to maintain a positive attitude. It’s rough out there, and you just have to keep at it; the right thing will come along if you’re working hard and trying.”
