AMC’s acclaimed Gothic drama “Interview With the Vampire” has officially returned for Season 3. Retitled “The Vampire Lestat,” the seven-episode season shifts the spotlight to Lestat de Lioncourt (played by Sam Reid). It adapts the second book in Rice’s “Vampire Chronicles” and leans heavily on Lestat’s rock star persona.
To kick off the new season, AMC Networks and Lakeshore Records released Lestat’s first two official singles, “Long Face” and “All Fall Down”—both written by series composer Daniel Hart, performed by Reid, and featured in the show, with more tracks to come.

“The Vampire Lestat” follows Lestat (Reid) as the world’s first immortal rock star. On an electric multicity tour, he’s haunted by muses from his rebellious past. Journalist turned vampire Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) films a documentary about Lestat’s life on tour.
As Lestat’s band’s popularity and star power rise, so does his influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with his power during the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population.
