The Cast of “Severance” Season 2 Features More Big Names
It’s onboarding day at Lumon Industries. The critically acclaimed Apple TV+ drama series announced that Gwendoline Christie, Bob Balaban, Merritt Wever, Alia Shawkat, Robby Benson, Stefano Carannante, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, and John Noble are joining the upcoming season.
Along with the exciting casting news, Apple confirmed that Season 2 is currently in production. As we previously reported, the streamer gave the series a Season 2 renewal earlier this year in April.
Dan Erickson is the series creator and head writer for Season 2. Ben Stiller, who directed seven of the ten episodes in Season 1, will return as director and executive producer. (Aoife McArdle directed the other three episodes of Season 1, but it’s not confirmed if she will be directing more in Season 2.)
Regular Stiller collaborator Rachel Tenner is the casting director for “Severance.” Therefore, with Season 2 now in production, it’s a good idea to keep a tab on our casting calls for potential background opportunities in the series. You can also find out how Stiller and Tenner cast “Severance” (and what they’re looking for going forward), in our exclusive interview here.
