The School for Good and Evil
As we’ve previously reported, Netflix is making an adaptation of the bestselling young adult fantasy novel series by Soman Chainani. Filming has now begun in Northern Ireland, originally at Belfast Harbour Studios and now at St Peter’s Church of Ireland on Antrim Road, where several cast members have been spotted on set.

Starring in the film will be Sophia Anne Caruso, Sofia Wylie, Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, Michelle Yeoh, Laurence Fishburne, and more. The story follows best friends Sophie (Caruso) and Agatha (Wylie) as they are kidnapped to the titular School for Good and Evil, where children are trained to become fairytale-like heroes and villains. Paul Feig will direct from a screenplay by Chainani, David Magee, and Malie Scot Marmo. Fiona Weir is the casting director.
