Maas already conquered the 'romantasy' world with her hit “A Court of Thorns and Roses” series, and she isn’t slowing down.  With book six dropping this October and book seven hitting the shelves in January 2027, the “ACOTAR” universe is only getting bigger. Dark Fantasy Comedy (Indie Arthouse) 

Dungeon Rat Productions is casting an arthouse dark fantasy comedy in the vein of “Monty Python's Holy Grail.” California-based talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted for several supporting roles, including a variety of knights and wizards. Filming dates and locations are TBD. Pay is $50–$500 for up to two days of work.

“Mythos Anthology,” Season Two 

Mythos Anthology,” an interview series where mythological and archetypal figures sit down and speak for themselves, is casting talent for its second season. California-based actors, aged 18 and older, are wanted for various roles, including Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt; Moth, Fairy of the Fae; Bacchus, God of Wine and Liberation; and more. Production is also now hiring multiple crew and marketing/public relations roles. Filming is scheduled for Aug. 25–28 and Sept. 9–12 in Palmdale. Pay is $150–$200 per day with on-site lodging for out-of-town cast and crew.

Weekly Episodes Of A Psychological Series 

A psychological series about a fictional society of enlightened thinkers is casting a female actor, age 18 or older, for a remote lead role: the Enlightened Muse, a central figure in the world of philosophers. Talent will record one hour-long session per week with flexible dates. Pay is $100 per hour for an estimated $5,200 total.

“The Woman Stuck on Mars” 

Casting is underway for “The Woman Stuck on Mars,” a fantasy drama short film centered around a young boy who uses space-themed imagination to escape the difficult realities of life at home. Two Los Angeles-based Black female actors, aged 30–60, and a male voice actor, age 18 or older, are wanted for a trio of roles in the project, including the protagonist’s mother. On-camera talent will work in L.A. and Hanksville, Utah, in mid-May; voice talent will record remotely. Pay is $175 per day for up to eight days of work. Lodging, travel, and meals will be provided for Utah shoot dates, and meals and gas reimbursement will be provided for all dates.

“Georgia” 

Join the cast of “Georgia,” a short film from Powdered Cat Productions following the titular Georgia, who, after kissing her lifelong best friend the night before graduation, must come to terms with her newfound feelings and changing identity. A female or nonbinary actor, age 18–22, is wanted for the supporting role of Evie, Georgia’s best friend. Filming is scheduled for April 17–26 and May 1–3 in the greater Boston area. Talent will be paid between $675 and $2,241 for nine days of work with travel compensated.

“Summer Thing” 

Join the cast of “Summer Thing,” a short drama film centered on two young women in a forbidden romance on their last day together in Florida. A Latina actor, age 18–22, is wanted to play the co-lead role of Aurora. Filming will take place this spring, dates and locations TBD. Pay is $300.
