The comedy follows cynical ex-cop Frank Shaw (McHale), who was fired after trying to expose corruption in his department. Now working for Seattle’s Animal Control Department, Frank is partnered with former professional snowboarder Fred “Shred” Taylor (Rowland). He uses his uncanny ability to understand animals—far better than he does humans—to navigate chaotic wildlife calls and interpersonal drama.
Collider notes that the Season 3 finale teases what’s next: Frank begins to acknowledge his feelings for Victoria (Palmer), while Shred finally shares a long-awaited kiss with Emily (Lovell), the office’s director.
The series is created and executive-produced by Bob Fisher, Rob Greenberg, and Dan Sterling.
