How to Take a Great Headshot

Headshots can be one of the most stressful aspects of an actor’s career. Everyone has an opinion about what makes a great shot; and everyone seems to be insecure about what they’re presenting. Should it be indoors or out? Vertical or horizontal? What does an actor need to do to get a casting director’s attention based on a photo alone? We checked in with Backstage Expert and acting coach Anthony Meindl (Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop) about what makes a great headshot—and he gives some great common-sense advice on the subject!
