Kill The Light

Shooting begins in May for dark comedy Kill The Light, the tale of a theatre critic on a desperate mission to survive after his write-ups get him into deathly trouble. Set in 1930s London, Simon Russell Beale stars as reviewer Jimmy Erskine, with Paapa Essiedu playing his loyal assistant and co-conspirator in a web of blackmail, deceit, and murder. Patrick Marber has adapted the script from Anthony Quinn's novel Curtain Call, director Anand Tucker is attached, and CD Robert Sterne (The Crown) is onboard. 

Red, White & Royal Blue

Romance novel Red, White & Royal Blue is getting a feature adaptation from Amazon Studios. The romcom sees the son of the President of the United States falling first out of favour and then in love with a British prince. Shooting both sides of the Atlantic later this year, award-winning playwright Matthew López is attached to direct and Kelly Valentine Hendry is onboard to cast this side of the pond. 

Falling Into Place

Acclaimed German actor Aylin Tezel is to write and direct her first English-language screen project, the story of two young people connecting between Scotland and London. Renowned German production company Weydemann Bros. is producing and shooting begins later this year, with Des Hamilton onboard to cast.
