“Running Point” follows Isla Gordon (Hudson) as she takes over her family business—running a professional basketball team. When Isla’s brother (Justin Theroux) gets into an accident and resigns from his position as president of the Los Angeles Waves, he puts her in charge. Although she’s an ambitious executive in her own right, Isla now has to go toe-to-toe with the male-dominated sports industry and prove she’s the right pick for the job.
