Will Forte and D’Arcy Carden star as an American brother and sister attempting a chaotic fresh start in Sydney, Australia, in the new dramedy “Sunny Nights.” After its Christmas 2025 debut on the Australian streamer Stan, the series is officially making its U.S. landing on Hulu on March 11.
Forte shared his excitement with Deadline, praising the “incredibly special experience” of filming with Carden, director Trent O’Donnell, and their Australian crew. “I’m thrilled that the show turned out to be as fun and funny as it was to make,” he added.
Here’s everything you need to know about the new comedy, including who cast it.

Forte and Carden star as Martin and Vicki, an American brother and sister who relocate to Sydney in hopes of starting their own mobile spray-tan business. While Martin is more by-the-book, Vicki’s spontaneous nature keeps everyone on their toes. However, nothing can compare to the mess they get themselves in on their way from startup to success. Martin and Vicki accidentally become involved with the city’s seedy underground thanks to some less-than-stellar choices, causing them to cross paths with a gangster who poses a threat to their safety. Prison (and death!) surely weren’t part of their original business plan, but it never hurts to expect the unexpected.
Created by Nick Keetch and Ty Freer, the series consists of eight episodes, with the show’s future still undetermined.
