Netflix’s ‘Bridgerton’ Prequel Series Announces Its Cast

Those who spent their weekend binge-watching “Bridgerton” and want more Regency-era romance are in luck. Netflix’s prequel series to the steamy period drama officially has a cast. The new show, which follows Queen Charlotte’s rise to power, will star India Amarteifio, Corey Mylchrees, and more. Want to learn more about this exciting casting announcement? India Amarteifio Will Star in Netflix’s “Bridgerton” Prequel Series 

Capitalizing on the success of the latest season of “Bridgerton,” Netflix is ready to give more to the masses. The highly-anticipated “Bridgerton” prequel series is making headway—thanks to a newly announced cast. Variety reports that the new project, which was announced back in May 2021, now has its stars. India Amarteifio is set to headline (as she will play the young Charlotte) opposite Corey Mylchreest (as he will play the young King George). 

“Bridgerton” Queen Charlotte portrayer Golda Rosheuvel will also appear in the series, as well as Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, and Arsema Thomas. Additional cast members include Sam Clemmett, Richard Cunningham, Tunji Kasim, Rob Maloney, Cyril Nri, and Hugh Sachs. Shondaland will also produce the currently untitled prequel series with Shonda Rhimes writing and serving as showrunner. Kelly Valentine Hendry is the casting director behind “Bridgerton.”
