The short film “What Remains” is looking for Black or multiethnic female talent, aged 35–45, to play a therapist. The story is about a woman seeking help as she struggles with seemingly insurmountable grief. Talent will play the calm and patient Dr. Bennett, who creates a safe space for a challenging healing journey. Shooting is this July in New York City. Pay is $125 for a 2-hour shoot.

Women's Health & Lifestyle Podcast

Casting is underway for a Women's Health & Lifestyle Podcast. Raven Digital Health is seeking female talent, aged 30–50, to appear as guests on an upcoming podcast episode. Discussion topics may include women’s health, lifestyle, weight loss, fitness, relationships, and more. No specific experience or prerequisites are required. Films on Wednesday, June 24, from 1-4 p.m. at the Raven head office in downtown Toronto, ON. Roles paying up to CA$500.

Feature Film: “The Lost Healer” 

The feature film “The Lost Healer” wants white male talent with sword-fighting skills, aged 32–45, to play Captain Malyrn. The fantasy-adventure story is about a young princess who must find a forbidden relic to save her kingdom. Talent will portray a devoted soldier who must balance his community’s need to appease an invading force with his personal desire for revenge. Shooting is Sept.–Oct. in Kentucky. Pay is $2,400 for an 8-day shoot.

Short Film: “Previously On” 

The short film “Previously On” is seeking white female talent, aged 40–55, for a principal role. The thrilling dark comedy is about a long-running reality TV show that turns deadly. Talent will play the reigning reality, Queen Taryn Black. As her life implodes, Taryn grips harder onto her role and the franchise she helped establish. Shooting is mid-July in Los Angeles, California. Pay is $500 for a 2-day shoot.

The short film “A Good Werewolf Movie” is looking for male talent, aged 18–20, to play the principal role of Ricky. An aspiring filmmaker and a loyal best friend, Rickie approaches even the most ridiculous situations with complete sincerity and conviction. Shooting is in the Los Angeles, California area. Pay is $160 for a 5-hour shoot, plus travel.

Feature Film: “Bullies Anonymous” 

Join the cast of the feature film “Bullies Anonymous.” The thriller follows a group of high school bullies who go too far, prompting a deadly, mysterious retaliation. The production seeks white female talent aged 45–60 to play Ellen, a police chief with inner goodness and a desire to protect others. Ellen is also psychologically fragile due to past trauma and struggles with drinking. Shooting is June 28–July 1 in New Paltz, New York. Pay is $3,028 for a 2-week shoot.

Short Film: “Taasan Mo Na” 

The short film “Taasan Mo Na” wants Asian or Pacific Islander male talent, aged 18–25, to play a strong-willed teen who looks up to his father. The story is about Leonardo, a Filipino immigrant and family man, who is overcome by grief yet tries to press on with work and family obligations. Talent will play Ronnie, Leonardo’s son, who challenges his father to embrace the vulnerability he so greatly fears. Shooting is Sept. 18–21 in San Diego, California. Pay is $500–$800 for a 4-day shoot.

Short Film: “Don’t Turn Around”

The short film “Don’t Turn Around” wants female talent, aged 20–30, to play a grieving woman desperate to reconnect with her deceased mother. Talent will portray the melancholy yet brave Amy, whose determination to overcome her guilt and gain closure leads her to a sinister supernatural force that pulls her deeper into the darkness. Shooting is July 18–19 and 25–26 in Los Angeles, California. Pay is $400 for a 4-day shoot.

Join the cast of the short film “960,” dramedy about the search for meaning. The production wants male talent with comedy skills, aged 18–25, to play the charismatic and easygoing Reid, who puts people at ease. Beneath his handsome and laid-back exterior is a loyal soul who would do anything for his friends. Shooting is July 18–19 in Manitou Springs, Colorado Springs, and Castle Rock, Colorado.
