“The Last Thing He Told Me” follows Hannah Hall (Garner) as she struggles to develop a relationship with her stepdaughter, Bailey (Rice). When her husband, Owen (Coster-Waldau), finds himself at the center of some shady dealings at work, he vanishes, leaving Hannah nothing more than a note that says: “Protect her.” Now Bailey’s sole caretaker, Hannah must team up with the angry teen to uncover the truth behind Owen’s disappearance. But as it turns out, no one is who they seem, leaving the two to grapple with an unexpected discovery that brings them closer.
