Best known for his roles as the manipulative Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish on HBO’s “Game of Thrones” and ambitious politician Tommy Garcetti on “The Wire,” it goes without saying that veteran Irish actor Aidan Gillen knows a thing or two about what it takes to get cast on prestige television. He now has taken on the role of real-life astronomer Josef Allen Hynek in History’s “Project Blue Book,” which premiered earlier this month. In this clip from his recent Backstage Live interview filmed in Brooklyn, New York, Aidan shares a handy piece of advice that he received early on that helped shape his career.
