An ongoing Prince tribute show in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking performers that can play the iconic singer on stage. “Purple Reign: The Prince Tribute Show” immerses audiences in the experience of seeing the pop idol. The production says, “The show captures the imagination and seamlessly re-creates the blistering performances and raw energy of Prince in his prime, and returns guests to the era that made “The Artist” an international superstar.”

They are seeking a male performer to play Prince. Artists should “encompass the entire Prince persona, including the ability to look like Prince, dance like Prince, and play guitar like Prince. Also necessary is the knowledge of the catalog of music from the “Purple Rain” movie soundtrack, and the ability to perform with a cast of dancers and other artists.”

Qualified candidates should be aged 21–40, 5’3”–5’8”, and 120–140 pounds. They must have “training or experience as a Prince tribute artist.”

There are auditions by appointment on Feb. 16 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Performances are ongoing, and pay is TBD, decided in a private contract.
