Ever since she was a child, Angela Renee knew she wanted to be an actor; and she made big moves to get there.
Take risks when chasing your passion.
“I am originally from Maryland, and I moved to Georgia to pursue acting. [I’ve done] music videos, commercials, and short films. I decided that I wanted to be an actor when I was very young—in elementary school. Acting is all I want to do with my life.”
Make friends in the industry.
“When on set, speak [with] and be nice to everyone. If it is not a big project, speak to the director. Don’t ask them about jobs, but show interest, and always be kind and appreciative.”
Be confident in your skills.
“I prepare for an audition by practicing the script and saying affirmations. I’ve learned to believe in myself and work hard.”
