Greenlit means a project is officially a go, so all you have to do is follow these leads to stay up to date. You never know where you’ll find an opportunity to land an audition!

“Creed III”
Michael B. Jordan will reportedly deliver the one-two punch as both director and star in “Creed III.” After months of rumors, the news comes from co-star Tessa Thompson in a recent interview with MTV’s Josh Horowitz. The third installment will be Jordan’s directorial debut after taking over in the ring for Steven Caple Jr. (and Ryan Coogler of the original “Creed”). “King Richard” writer Zach Baylin is writing the script for “Creed III,” which will see the return of both Jordan and Thompson in the starring roles. Filming is reportedly planned for this year. Kathy Driscoll and Francine Maisler were the casting directors for the first film, and Betty Mae, Inc. was the casting team for number two; a casting team for “Creed III” has yet to be announced.

“Reservation Dogs”
Taika Waititi and FX are ready to make more magic with a new comedy series. The cabler has given a series order to the “What We Do in the Shadows” creator and Sterlin Harjo’s “Reservation Dogs.” The half-hour project follows four Native teenagers in rural Oklahoma who spend their days both committing crime and fighting it. The pilot starred D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Devery Jacobs, Paulina Alexis, and Lane Factor with additional guest stars Tamara Podemski, Zahn McClarnon, Macon Blair, Kirk Fox, Matty Cardarople, Dallas Goldtooth, Lil Mike, and Funny Bone. Angelique Midthunder was the pilot casting director

“B Positive”
Some positive news to start the year: CBS has picked up “B Positive” to series. Created by Marco Pennette and inspired by Pennette’s personal experience as a transplant recipient, it follows Drew (played by Thomas Middleditch), a therapist and newly divorced dad who, when he discovers he needs a new kidney, runs into Gina (Annaleigh Ashford), a rough-around-the-edges woman from his past who volunteers hers. “B Positive” will be executive produced by CBS mainstay Chuck Lorre. The new series also holds the distinction of being the only pilot out of last year’s season to complete filming prior to the shutdown, so the show will now run through the entire 2020–2021 broadcast season. The news comes after just five episodes of the show have aired on CBS, with the series debuting on Nov. 5. Regular Lorre casting team Valko/Miller is back at work here, as well.
