Greenlit means a project is officially a go, so all you have to do is follow these leads to stay up to date. You never know where you’ll find an opportunity to land an audition.

As Steven Soderbergh is the latest high-profile director to helm a limited series at HBO, the filmmaker is bringing with him a familiar face: Timothy Olyphant, former lead of the cabler’s “Deadwood” franchise. Here is everything we know about the crime thriller.

Timothy Olyphant Will Return to HBO in Steven Soderbergh’s “Full Circle” Limited Series

It’s a reunion for “Deadwood” star Timothy Olyphant and his longtime cabler collaborator HBO. The actor has reportedly signed on as a lead opposite Zazie Beetz and Claire Danes in the upcoming HBO Max limited series “Full Circle.”

The new project from director Steven Soderbergh and writer Ed Solomon (“Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure”) centers on “an investigation into a botched kidnapping [that] uncovers long-held secrets connecting multiple characters and cultures in present-day New York City.” According to Deadline, Olyphant will likely play Derek, Sam’s (Danes) husband.

This project will technically be the third time Olyphant has worked with HBO (in at least a recurring role) following the hit “Deadwood” series, as well as its follow-up “Deadwood: The Movie” in 2019. (Olyphant was also an executive producer on the latter project.)

“Full Circle” is now in production as of Sept. 6 in New York City, where filming will continue through at least the start of winter. Carmen Cuba, who was the casting director for “No Sudden Move,” has returned for the Soderbergh/Solomon/Silver re-collab. While the project is not currently calling for talent, you can check out our other HBO notices and keep an eye out for future opportunities.
