Inspired by a true story and based on the acclaimed Italian series “Doc – Nelle tue mani,” “Doc” follows Dr. Amy Larsen (Parker), a renowned chief of internal and family medicine at Westside Hospital. After a car accident wipes out the last eight years of her memory, Amy must rebuild a life and career she no longer remembers.

Fox hasn’t announced the casting director for Season 2, but showrunners Barbie Kligman (“The Vampire Diaries,” “Everwood,” “Private Practice”) and Hank Steinberg (“Without a Trace,” “The Last Ship”) assembled the ensemble that helped make “Doc” Fox’s most-watched series debut in five years.

According to the Wrap, filming for the second season of “Doc” began on June 6 and is scheduled to wrap in April 2026.
