A Halloween social media campaign/commecial for a candy brand is casting a male actor, age 45–60, to play a gaunt, zombie version of Santa Claus. The role will require heavy character work including full prosthetic/makeup application, extended costume wear, and strong improv skills. There will be a makeup trial and costume fitting on Sept. 17–18, followed by filming on Sept. 24 and late October in New York City. Pay is $3,000 for three days of work.

Training Sexual Assault Forensic Examiners Short Educational Videos
NYC-based actors, aged 18 and older, are sought to play Sexual Assault Forensic Examiners (SAFE) in a trauma-informed educational video series. Talent will work in the Bronx on Sept. 23 and Oct. 1, plus an additional date in October TBD. Pay is $90 per hour for three days of work.

“Out of the Woods”
Join the cast of “Out of the Woods,” a proof-of-concept short film following Seaun, who, while navigating a breakup, discovers he is tethered to a dark entity: the cause of several mysterious murders occurring throughout the city. Atlanta-based talent, aged 4–60, is sought for several roles, including the starring role of Seaun. The actor playing Seaun must be able to sing and play piano. Rehearsals, test shoots, and more will begin in September, followed by filming over six days in early October. Pay is $600–$1,200 for the lead role; all other roles are unpaid. Travel, food, and lodging (for partial out-of-stage filming) will be provided.
