“Capacity” 

Casting is underway for “Capacity,” a corporate thriller film and cautionary tale about A.I., exploring greed, societal polarization, and what is at risk for the future. Production is casting a female actor of color, age 27–37, to star as Kelly, a tech journalist who becomes entangled in a deadly conspiracy involving a corrupt A.I. company and makes it a personal mission to expose them. Production is also seeking talent, aged 21–45, for background roles in a TED Talk-style scene. Filming is scheduled for mid-October in New York City. Pay is $2,000 for 10 days of work for the lead actor; background roles are unpaid. Talent will receive food and IMDb credit.

Business Travel Commercial 

Danielle Pisano Productions is currently seeking NYC-based talent, aged 18 and older, to play business travelers in a commercial/branded content project. Filming is scheduled for Sept. 16. Pay is $500 for background talent and $3,000 for principal talent.

“It’s a Love Hate Thing” 

Join the cast of “It’s a Love Hate Thing,” a feature romantic comedy-drama film following a stubborn copywriter and a fiercely ambitious advertising executive who are forced to work together on a major client pitch with only 72 hours to save their agency and win a multimillion-dollar account. Talent, aged 22 and older, is sought for several lead and supporting roles, including the co-starring role of Bob. Virtual auditions will be held on Sept. 15. Filming will take place over 10 days in 2027 in McKinney and Anna, Texas. Pay is a negotiable $150–$200 per day with meals provided.

SAG Short Film 

A NYC-based Black female or nonbinary actor, age 20–35, is sought to star in a SAG short drama/thriller film set over the course of one lazy afternoon where three bored friends find themselves wrapped up in a plot to kill someone just for fun using a magical drug called YOU. A strong theatre background is preferred. Talent will work in Manhattan on Sept. 29–30. Pay is $257 per day.
