Casting is underway for “Red Was Here,” a dark comedy-crime feature film following a passive young man who, unable to get a job and living under his wealthy grandfather's thumb, falls in with a magnetic, unpredictable stranger who teaches him how to take power over his life. Los Angeles-based actors, aged 18–60, are sought for several roles, including the protagonist, Kaleb. Talent will work in December and January. Pay is 800–1,000 for day players and supporting roles and $3,000 for the lead role.
