Rooftop Film Club, the UK’s leading outdoor cinema experience, will bring its screening series to New York City this summer. From June 3 to September 30, movie lovers can enjoy state-of-the-art screenings of “The Goonies,” “Ghostbusters,” “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” and “Birdman,” among others—all while overlooking the Manhattan skyline atop the terrace at YOTEL on 42nd street and 10th avenue.
Tickets for screenings are $15 or $25 including noise-canceling headphones, comfortable chairs, and a choice of either sangria or beer and a taco. “With the most iconic skylines in the world, NYC has always been an aspiration for us as a business. We’ve spent years trying to find the ideal spot for our stateside debut,” said co-founder Gerry Cottle Jr. in a statement. “As soon as we saw the terrace at YOTEL we knew we had found our new home.”
