The project requires a performer with professional recording equipment, as demonstrated by an audition tape, and the ability to record by 5 August. Micro-musical casting Black male lead
Writer-director Victor De Almeida is seeking a male lead for his new film The Ballad of Theo Bell, a short musical that follows the last few moments in the life of Theo before he’s murdered at the hands of the police. The team are seeking a Male Singer, playing age 18+ and Black. Rehearsal and recording dates are TBD but planned for September. Filmmaker Laurie Waplington is casting for DLR Dreamin’, a short project that follows Greg and Paul as they prepare for their honeymoon and the dream of married life fades. Paul is male, playing ages 25–35 and non-white. Attractive and confident, everything in his life is under control. A control freak, he’s got a passive husband, a London flat, and a high paying job. The project is scheduled to shoot 16 August in Holborn and 27 August in Pimlico. The role is paid £80 per day, with meals and travel provided. The team are seeking performers based in London.
