Join ‘Sesame Street Live!’ as a Dancer, Singer, Actor + More

“Sesame Street Live!” brings the popular children’s TV program around the country through a touring stage show. New and existing tours with various schedules are currently casting for singers and more.

Shows are currently seeking men and women, aged 18–35. Roles are open for singers to become part of the chorus/ensemble. Performers should be youthful, move well, and have an urban style. Additional roles are open for dancers, actors, character performers, and puppeteers. Puppetry experience with hand and or rod puppets and “mech” heads is a plus.

Contracts begin either in May 2018 or September 2018. Rehearsals take place in Florida. Tours can run anywhere between six and twelve months. Compensation for singers is $1,000 a week. Characters, dancers, and puppeteers earn $800 a week. Contracts include health benefits and cover domestic and international travel.

Audition dates are happening around the country. Currently, the show is set to audition in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on April 4, Orlando, Florida on April 6, and New York City on April 9 and 10. Find full details on the auditions and see the original listing here.
