“No Activity”
Contradicting its own title, “No Activity” is staying very busy in L.A. this week as it films its third season. Starring Tim Meadows and Patrick Brammall, the CBS All Access comedy series follows two low-level cops, two criminals, two dispatch workers, and two Mexican tunnelers, seen against the backdrop of a major drug cartel bust. Amy Sedaris, Sunita Mani, Jason Mantzoukas, Jesse Plemons, Cristin Milioti, Will Ferrell, Bob Odenkirk, and other major actors also star in the series. According to On Location Vacations, production is taking place at Willow Studios, 1335 Willow St., in the Arts District into the late hours. The network renewed the series for a third season back in March of this year; no air date has been set yet. Alyssa Weisberg is the series casting director.
