“Dead to Me”
Filming for Season 3 of “Dead to Me” is live in L.A.! The original Netflix black comedy series, created by Liz Feldman and starring Christina Applegate, Linda Cardellini, and James Marsden is well into its third and final season’s production in the city. Filming officially started at the beginning of May and is expected to conclude on Aug. 2. Some of the recent filming locations so far have been in San Pedro and Chinatown in Downtown L.A., according to On Location Vacations. Feldman marked the start of Season 3 production on her Instagram, and since then, a few spoiler-y set photos have been released as Applegate, Cardellini, and Marsden were spotted filming in the city.
The series was renewed for a third and final season last July, and Feldman and Netflix announced the formation of a multi-year partnership for original series and other projects. No release date for Season 3 has been announced at this time, but don’t expect to see it until early 2022. Bialy/Thomas & Associates is the series casting team.
