Disney Theatrical Productions is currently seeking Equity singers and dancers, aged 18–45, to join the Broadway and touring productions of the long-running musical “The Lion King.” There will be Equity chorus calls on Aug. 7 (singers) and Aug. 10 (dancers) for the Broadway production and Aug. 12 (dancers) and Aug. 13 (singers) for the tour. Work dates are TBD. Pay is $2,599 per week for the tour and $2,717 per week for Broadway.

“Space Cadets: The Next Generation”
Casting is underway for the pilot of “Space Cadets: The Next Generation,” a heartfelt series that celebrates the imagination, resilience, and wonder of neurodivergent children and the parents who will do anything to help them thrive. A young male actor, age 2–5, is sought to play the lead role of Emerson, a three-year-old nonverbal boy who communicates in powerful and meaningful ways. Filming will take place in Southern California in late August. Pay is $249 per day for six days of work with on-set meals and mileage reimbursement provided.

“The New New York,” a premium crime drama TV series currently in development, is now seeking New York City-based actors, aged 21–45, for lead and supporting roles. Filming will take place in NYC and New Jersey on Sept. 14–27. Pay is $300–$1,000.
