Newell Brands is now casting New York City and New Jersey-based actors, aged 18–55, for multiple roles in a brand refresh of Sunbeam packaging and digital content for heating pad products. Talent will work between Aug. 17 and 28 in Hoboken and the Tri-State area. Pay is $1,000 per day for up to seven days of work with meals and a $50 per day travel reimbursement provided.

“Residue”
Axecila Productions is now casting “Residue,” a short film about a trans woman and her son struggle to navigate parallel grief, resentment, and an unwanted continuation of care after the death of their husband and father, respectively. Talent, aged 13–50, is sought for various roles in the project, including leads. Filming is scheduled for Oct. 2–5 in Brooklyn, NYC. Pay is $256.50 per day for up to four days of work.

NYC and New Jersey-based male talent, aged 18–65, are sought to play football players and their coach in a locker room-set commercial for a software company. Talent will work during the week of Aug. 31. Pay is $1,600–$2,400 for two days of work.
