House Targaryen is back for more ambition and bloodshed! The “Game of Thrones” prequel series “House of the Dragon” has returned for its long-awaited third season, following its thrilling premiere on June 21. New episodes will premiere every Sunday, but while you wait each week to see what’s next for Rhaenyra, Alicent, Daemon, and the rest of the Targaryen clan, you can dive into your own adventure, fantasy, or drama project. The following gigs are currently looking for talent.
“The Lost Healer”
Casting is underway for “The Lost Healer,” a fantasy adventure film about a young princess who must locate a forbidden relic to save her kingdom from the tyrant who killed her parents. Nationwide actors, aged 7–60, are sought for supporting and day player roles. Rehearsals will take place in late spring, including dialect coaching sessions for multiple roles, followed by filming in Kentucky in July. Pay is $250–$300 per day for up to 10 days of work.

“The Secret Beneath The Castle Part II”
Innerverse Studios is seeking a female voice actor and vocalist, age 18 and older, to voice a warm, optimistic, and kind character in “The Secret Beneath The Castle Part II,” a short fantasy film. Work dates are TBD. Pay is $100–$500.

“The Witch”
Mica Magic Productions is seeking talent for “The Witch,” a dramedy feature film following a wealthy, arrogant playboy whose seemingly perfect life spirals into chaos after he falls for a mysterious woman and finds himself caught in a bizarre world of witches, warlocks, mobsters, and larger-than-life enemies determined to bring him down. Worldwide actors, 20–50, are sought for several roles, including the lead witch, Mila. Filming will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, starting in early July through mid-September. Pay is $1,000 per day for up to five days of work with travel and lodging provided.

“Age of Fantasy: The Lady, The Wizard, and The Knight”
Fair Studios Productions is now seeking talent for “Age of Fantasy: The Lady, The Wizard, and The Knight,” a dark fantasy short film as a proof of concept for a larger story universe. Production is now casting talent, aged 10–65, for a wide variety of characters, including elves, dwarf warriors, mages, townsfolk, and more. “Mythos Anthology,” Season Two
Casting continues for the second season of “Mythos Anthology,” a video interview series where mythological and archetypal figures sit down and speak for themselves. Female talent, aged 25 and older, is wanted to portray Lilith, Elara, and Artemis. Production is also still seeking multiple crew members, including a sound mixer/boom operator, gaffer/lighting technician, and more. Filming is scheduled for Aug. 25–28 and Sept. 9–12 in Palmdale, California. Pay is $150 for six hours of work for actors. Crew rates are TBD. On-site lodging will be available for all.

“What Lies Within”
Join the cast of “What Lies Within,” a grounded psychological fantasy short film inspired by Proverbs 23:7 and following three men sent to retrieve an artifact. Two California-based male actors, aged 25–30, are sought for a lead and a supporting role. Production is also hiring many crew roles, including a script supervisor, a fight choreographer, and more. Eight rehearsals are scheduled throughout August, followed by filming on Sept. 1 –8 in the Bay Area. Pay is $1,000 for actors and $250–$1,000 for crew. “Paradise”
Join the proof-of-concept cast of “Paradise,” an adventure-drama film following a pair of young friends who impulsively run away in search of a dreamland they call Paradise, only to meet the cruelty of the world through a young girl being trafficked. Talent, aged 10–15, is sought for a trio of lead roles, and a male actor, aged 40–70, is wanted for a supporting role. Filming is scheduled for Aug. 26–Sept. 2 in Woodlawn, Virginia.
