Love ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 2? Audition for These Gigs

The conclusion of “House of the Dragon” Season 2 is nearly here. On Aug. 4, fans will get one last installment of the hit HBO series until the “Game of Thrones” prequel goes on hiatus to shoot its third season. While we wait to see what becomes of Rhaenyra, Alicent, Daemon, and the rest of the House Targaryen, you can dive into your own adventure, fantasy, or drama project. The following gigs are all looking for talent right now.

“Unfaithful Relationships”

A scripted show is casting for its upcoming shoot in the Los Angeles area. Production seeks a lead female actor, aged 19–30, to play The Girlfriend, a lead male actor, aged 20–30, to play The Boyfriend, and a supporting female actor, aged 20–30, to play The Girlfriend’s Friend. All roles pay a flat rate of $300 for an estimated eight hours of work. Please note that all roles require improvisation skills.

“Throwing Stones”

A nonunion drama feature film is casting for its Jan. 2026 shoot in Orlando. Production seeks a lead female actor, aged 14–19, to play Maddy Walker. The role pays a flat rate of $500 for an estimated three days of work.

“Flash Marriage of Rose”

A drama series is casting for its Aug. 5–10 shoot in New York and New Jersey. Production is filling multiple roles, including a supporting male actor, aged 20–28, to play Charles, a supporting female actor, aged 20–28, to play Elle Sophia, and a supporting female actor, aged 18–25, to play Sloane. All listed roles pay $50–$300 per day for an estimated five days of work.

“The One in Red”

A samurai student film is casting for its fall shoot in Florida. Production seeks a lead male actor, aged 18–40, to play Red Ronin, a supporting male actor, aged 18–40, to play Grey Ronin, and a supporting female actor, aged 18–40, to play Cloaked Figure. Pay for all roles is yet to be determined. Please note that all roles require Japanese language and accent skills. The roles of Red Ronin and Grey Ronin also require sword fighting skills.

“Iris”

A nonunion scripted show about an Amazon warrior preserving women’s history is casting for its spring 2025 shoot. Production is filling multiple roles, including a female actor, aged 40–55, to play Elizabeth Peratrovich, a female actor, aged 20–40, to play Amage, and a female actor, aged 25–35, to play Frida Kahlo. Pay for all roles is yet to be determined. Please note that the role of Elizabeth Peratrovich is open only to actors in Alaska. The role of Amage is open only to actors in Greece, and the role of Frida Kahlo is open only to actors in Mexico City.
