To the delight of “Game of Thrones” fans,  “House of the Dragon is finally back. The second season of the hit prequel series debuted on HBO on June 16. Moreover, just days before the Season 2 premiere, HBO announced the renewal of the “Games of Thrones” prequel for a third season! If you’re eager to dive into your own adventure, fantasy, or drama project, you can check out these gigs that are looking for talent now.

“Maya”

A fantasy short film is casting for its July shoot in Washington, D.C. Production seeks a lead female actor, aged 18–26, to play Maya. The role pays a flat rate of $200 for an estimated two days of work.

“DAWN”

A fantasy short film is casting for its late July shoot in Los Angeles and the surrounding area. Production seeks a lead female actor, aged 18–25, to play Dawn, a supporting male actor, aged 18–25, to play Lincoln, a supporting female actor, aged 25–45, to play Carrie, and a supporting male actor, aged 30–60, to play Dr. Adam Mada. All roles pay $125–$200 per day for an estimated four days of work.

“The One in Red”

A samurai student film is casting for its fall shoot in Florida. Production seeks a lead male actor, aged 18–40, to play Red Ronin, a supporting male actor, aged 18–40, to play Grey Ronin, and a supporting female actor, aged 18–40, to play Cloaked Figure. Pay for all roles is yet to be determined. Please note that all roles require Japanese language and accent skills. The roles of Red Ronin and Grey Ronin also require sword fighting skills.

“Iris”

A nonunion scripted show about an Amazon warrior preserving women’s history is casting for its spring 2025 shoot. Production is filling multiple roles, including a female actor, aged 40–55, to play Elizabeth Peratrovich, a female actor, aged 20–40, to play Amage, and a female actor, aged 25–35, to play Frida Kahlo. Pay for all roles is yet to be determined. Please note that the role of Elizabeth Peratrovich is open only to actors in Alaska. The role of Amage is open only to actors in Greece, and the role of Frida Kahlo is open only to actors in Mexico City.

“The Babble of the Brook”

A fantasy short film is casting for its Aug. 1–4 shoot in either Ridgefield, New Jersey, or New York. Production is filling multiple roles, including a lead female actor, aged 30–38, to play Adult Yeawon, a lead male actor, aged 35–50, to play Father, and a lead female actor, aged 33–40, to play Beautiful Woman. The role of Adult Yeawon and Beautiful Woman pay $125 per day for an estimated two days of work. The role of Father pays $125 per day for an estimated three days of work. Please note that the roles of Adult Yeawon and Father require Korean language skills. The role of Adult Yeawon additionally requires dance skills.

“Future Cosmos Flow”

A fantasy short film is casting for its shoot on to-be-determined dates between Aug. 15 and Sept. 10 in the Portland area. Production seeks a lead male actor, aged 60–85, to play Grandfather. The role pays $300 per day for an estimated two days of work.
