A bold new dating show is coming soon to Hulu. “Are You My First?” brings together 21 contestants who are not only eligible singles—they’re all virgins, too. Co-hosted by “Bachelor” alums Colton Underwood and Kaitlyn Bristowe, the unscripted series sends contestants to a tropical paradise where they’ll embark on a romantic, sexy journey in search of love and first-time intimacy. Ahead of the August 18 premiere on Hulu and Disney+, here’s everything we know so far about “Are You My First?,” including how to increase your chances of getting cast on a reality TV series.

Hulu describes the series as “a groundbreaking new dating experiment” where a group of virgins will assemble in a tropical paradise to let down their inhibitions. In their search for love and intimacy, the contestants will explore growing connections through romantic dates and challenges–without the judgment around celibacy that they may have faced in past relationships.
The cast of “Are You My First?” is made up of 21 celibate contestants hailing from different parts of the country, with a range of religious backgrounds, professions, and various reasons for keeping their virginity. Here’s the list of men and women who will be searching for love on the new show:

Underwood made his reality TV debut on Becca Kufrin’s season of “The Bachelorette” in 2018, then went on to lead “The Bachelor” in 2019, where he became the franchise’s first contestant to openly talk about being a virgin. Bristowe starred on “The Bachelorette” in 2015 and returned to co-host Seasons 17 and 18 of the series before taking home the mirrorball trophy on Season 29 of “Dancing With the Stars.”
The creative team behind the show features a long list of reality TV execs whose credits include “The Bachelorette,” “Love Island USA,” Netflix’s “The Ultimatum,” Real Housewives franchises, and more. Peter Geist, David George, Adam Sher, Simon Thomas, James Barker, Grant Mansfield, Karen Plumb, and Alan Eyres are executive producers for the new series. German Abarca Jr. and Kendall Elrod are co-executive producers, while Cheyenne Giguere (“Claim to Fame,” “Perfect Match”) is the talent producer. “Are You My First?” is produced by ITV America and Plimsoll Productions.
