Marvel’s ‘Madame Web’ Adds Adam Scott to Its Star-Filled Cast

“Severance” star and recent Emmy nominee Adam Scott has landed a new job. He is officially joining Sony and Marvel’s “Madame Web,” which stars Dakota Johnson in the titular role. From casting opportunities to filming locations, here’s what we know about the upcoming superhero flick. 

“Madame Web” Is Now Casting

As first reported by Deadline, Adam Scott is the next star to join the upcoming Sony Pictures feature “Madame Web,” starring Dakota Johnson. Scott confirmed the news via Twitter with the caption “Very, very excited.” His role is currently unknown, as Sony hasn’t commented on the casting yet. 

Along with Scott and Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Emma Roberts, and Tahar Rahim will star in the “Spider-Man” spinoff, which is filming in the Boston area. S.J. Clarkson (“Jessica Jones,” “Succession”) is directing the film from a screenplay by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. (Kerem Sanga wrote a previous draft.) “Madame Web” is scheduled for theatrical release on July 7, 2023.
