Casting is underway for “Dead Iris,” a horror feature about a down-on-his-luck musician who performs a Santa Muerte ritual on the Day of the Dead to avenge his girlfriend, unleashing forces beyond his control. A Texas-based male actor, age 22–33, is sought to star as Seed. Filming will take place in Northern Mexico near the Texas border on Nov. 23–Dec. 13. Pay is $3,000 to $5,000 for 20 days of work.

“The Lion King”
Disney Theatrical Productions is seeking New York City-based Equity actors, aged 18 and older, for future replacements in the Broadway and national touring productions of “The Lion King.” There will be principal auditions on Nov. 18. Work start dates are TBD. Pay is $2,599 per week for the tour and $2,799 per week for the Broadway production.

Digital Ad Commercial Shoot, Large Mortgage Company, Parents + College Kid
Los Angeles-based actors, aged 18–65, are wanted for on-camera and voiceover roles in a digital commercial for a major mortgage company. Talent will work on Nov. 4 or 5. Pay is $500 for the voice actor and $1,000 to $1,400 for the on-camera actors.

“The Cynic”
Join the cast of “The Cynic,” a feature film from Yellow Crown Productions that follows a detective who is tasked with catching a murderer whose aim is to extort and kill corrupt members of society with the goal of sparking a major change in civilizations across the globe. An L.A.-based male actor, age 21–40, is sought to play the titular antagonist, The Cynic. Talent will work in early 2027 in L.A. Pay is an estimated $2,000.
