Casting is underway for “Joshua,” a sports drama feature film following a working-class family who, after the death of their father, struggle to stay afloat, forcing the eldest son into a perilous fight. Los Angeles-based actors, aged 18–55, are sought for several roles in the film, including the starring, titular role of Joshua. Lead talent will be required to undergo extensive MMA training; a background in combat sports, football, or other high-level athletics is a major plus. Filming is scheduled for February and March 2027 in the Greater L.A. area. Pay is $202.62 per day (up to $4,052.40 total) with deferred bonus compensation and residuals provided.

“The Bloodhound and The Bail-Bound”
Join the cast of “The Bloodhound and The Bail-Bound,” a Here TV original Southern neo-noir drama that will stream on Arthouse Streaming Plus+. Production is currently seeking actors from the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Africa, Europe, and South America, aged 18–60, for a variety of roles, including the two lead roles. Production is also hiring multiple crew positions, including sound, hair/makeup, and more. Filming is scheduled for three weeks in August and September in Jacksonville, Florida, and the surrounding areas. Pay is $125 for day players, $500 for supporting roles (two days of work), and $2,300 for lead roles (10 days of work). Crew roles will be paid a deferred amount TBD. Travel, lodging, and food will be provided for all.

Darkcurrent Films is seeking talent for “Plastic Parts,” a surreal and experimental film following a group of six coupled friends from college who direct the fury of their own self-loathing toward a social misfit. New York City-based actors, aged 8–50, are sought for several roles, including the lead outcast, Elizabeth. Filming will take place this fall and winter in NYC. Pay is $200–$300 per day for up to 15 days of work.

Long-term Character Actor
L.A.-based character actors, aged 18–25, are sought for long-term work in an undisclosed project. Talent will work in L.A. for a minimum of two days a week after a short trial period. Pay is $300 per day for an estimated $28,400–$43,200 per year.
