Production is seeking New York City-based talent, aged 4–65, to portray young basketball players, abuelas and abuelos, and more. Talent will work between Aug. 12 and 14 in NYC. Pay is $1,500 plus 20% for child talent and $2,800 plus 20% for adult talent for one day of work.

“In The End”
Join the cast of “In The End,” a short film about the power of catharsis in music told through the story of a hapless songwriter getting the opportunity of a lifetime to write a closing song for an Oscar-winning director. A Black male actor, age 40–65, is sought for the supporting role of Michael, an Oscar-winning director who has found himself at the pinnacle of his career, but struggling to finish his next film due to a lack of heartfelt music from his current composer. Rehearsals will take place in August, followed by filming on Sept. 3–8 in Los Angeles. Pay is $1,500 for two days of work with meals included.
