Roman Candle Casting is seeking talent for Netflix’s “The Roman,” an upcoming eight-episode drama series starring Oscar Isaac and produced by Martin Scorsese that explores the high-stakes, ruthless present-day Las Vegas casino business. New York City-based talent, aged 21–75, is sought to portray high-end casino gamblers in background roles. Talent will work on multiple dates between July and December. Pay is $187–$231 per day.

Casting is underway for “None of My Friends Are Okay,” an ensemble feature film following a lonely couple that plans a re-wedding in the hopes of bringing their drifting friend group together, only for it to end up being the thing that might destroy their friendships for good. Los Angeles-based actors, aged 30–55, are now sought for lead and supporting roles. Rehearsals and filming are scheduled for Aug. 25–Sept. 14 in and around L.A. Pay is $256.50 per day for up to 12 days of work.

“Fanatic”
Join the cast of “Fanatic,” a short film following 22-year-old Eve, who hears the actor she is obsessed with will be in town and uses her extensive fan knowledge to manipulate him into love, but the reality of their relationship proves different than the parasocial one of her imagination. A male actor, age 21–35, is wanted to co-star as River, a kind actor who lacks self-awareness. Filming is scheduled for Aug. 28–Sept. 1 in NYC. Pay is $1,000 with meals provided.
