“Vicarion”
Casting is underway for “Vicarion,” a feature film following a young woman who takes a job journeying across Italy as a “virtual traveler” for a wealthy, elderly shut-in, but after a young Italian man offers to be her tour guide, both are disturbed by events hinting that the old man’s intentions for her could be quite sinister. Actors, aged 8–90, are wanted for various roles, including the lead roles of Rose and Terenzio. The actor playing Terenzio must originally be from Italy and speak fluent Italian. Rehearsals will take place in early February 2025 in Los Angeles, followed by filming in late February, March, and June in L.A. and Venice, Italy. Pay is $300–$500 per day with travel, meals, and per diem provided while filming in Italy.

“The Valley Beneath Us”
“The Valley Beneath Us,” an all-Black magical realism feature film that mediates on fathers and past memories, is casting New York City-based actors, aged 6–70, for various roles, including the lead role of Lee. Rehearsals will take place in February and March, followed by filming in March and April in NYC and White Plains. Pay is $96–$120 for day players, $128–$2,400 for supporting roles, and $2,720–$6,800 for the lead role with meals provided.
