Now Casting: A Touring Cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Cats’ Needs Singers + 3 More Gigs

Jellicle cats, come out tonight! The Andrew Lloyd Webber musical “Cats” is holding an Equity chorus call for strong singers to join its upcoming touring production. Plus, the premiere season of CBS’s “The Code” is casting background actors, a law firm is looking to hire a co-host for a talk show, and a crime drama feature is looking to round out its cast.

“CATS,” EQUITY SINGERS
The Andrew Lloyd Webber musical “Cats” is now casting Equity singers for the ensemble in its touring production. Strong singers who also dance well, aged 18 and older, are wanted for the production. Actors may also understudy principal roles and featured ensemble roles. There will be an Equity chorus call on July 27 in New York City. Pay is $877 per week, minimum. Apply here!

“THE CODE”
Background actors are wanted for the premiere season of the upcoming CBS series “The Code.” Talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted to portray military types (Privates, Lance Corporals, and Sergeants) in the Marines. Men must be comfortable getting a military haircut (short, but not buzz or crew cuts) and being clean-shaven. Filming will take place on dates TBD between July 24 and Aug. 8 in the NYC area. TALK SHOW CO-HOST FOR LAW FIRM
A co-host is currently wanted for a weekly audio and video talk show for a professional services law firm. Talent, aged 27–70, is wanted for the role. The ideal candidate should have video experience and be comfortable with interviewing. A background in improv or sketch comedy is a plus. The show will be shot in the Chicago, Illinois, area and will launch the week of Aug. 12 (filming will take place before that). Pay is $300 per show, including prep work. Apply here!

“T.H.E.O.R.Y.”
Join the cast of “T.H.E.O.R.Y.,” a crime drama feature film. Talent, aged 18–35, is wanted for several roles in the production, including the lead role of Tommy, a bad boy rebel. The film will shoot this summer in Los Angeles. Pay is $100 per day, plus travel and meals provided. Apply here!
