Prime Video is kicking off 2026 with “Steal,” a six-part thriller about an office worker who gets caught in a violent pension fund heist. The series stars Sophie Turner (“Game of Thrones,” “The Staircase”), Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (“Bodies,” “The Queen’s Gambit”), and Archie Madekwe (“Saltburn,” “Gran Turismo”). All six episodes premiere on Jan. 21, 2026, in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

What is “Steal” about?

Zara (Turner), an average employee at Lochmill Capital, finds herself at the middle of a criminal conspiracy when an armed gang storms the office and forces her and her colleague Luke (Madekwe) to carry out their plan. DCI Rhys (Fortune-Lloyd) is assigned to the case but must hide his own gambling relapse as he navigates the layered agendas behind the massive pension fraud.

“Steal” marks the screenwriting debut of crime novelist Sotiris Nikias, who wrote the “City Blues Quartet” book series under the pseudonym Ray Celestin. The show is directed by Sam Miller (“I May Destroy You,” “Black Mirror”) and Hettie Macdonald (“Normal People,” “The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry”).
