Join the cast of “After the Second Martini,” a cinematic documentary that blends stylized re-enactment with emotional realism to explore the inner life and early experiences of a high-achieving Black woman on the path to healing. Actors, aged 7–70, are wanted for supporting and background roles in the project, including the younger version of the protagonist. Talent will work between Aug. 25–29 or in early September in Central New Jersey. Pay is $100 for background roles and $500–$1,000 for supporting roles for up to eight hours of work.

“Cotton Mouth”
Apricot Dreams is seeking talent for “Cotton Mouth,” a short film following a young single mother who reconnects with an ex-boyfriend who is armed with a hidden DNA test that could untangle or further knot their complex history. Actors, aged 18–25, are wanted for the lead roles of Rachel and Danny. Additionally, child talent up to the age of 2 is sought for a supporting role. Rehearsals and filming will take place on Sept. 19–21 in Los Angeles. Pay is $250 per day with meals provided.

Casting is underway for “Scorpionida Imperium,” a historical short set in 193 AD following the power struggle between General Septimius Severus and Emperor Julianus in the wake of Rome’s civil unrest. Nationwide male talent, aged 30–60, is wanted for lead and supporting roles, including Septimius Severus and Emperor Julianus.
