An upcoming social and web commercial for a well-known drink brand is now seeking Black and Latinx actors, aged 18 and older, to play sports commentators, domino players, and family/friend groups. Talent will work on June 26 in Los Angeles. Pay is $200 for background roles, $1,500 for domino players, and $2,500 for commentators, plus a 20% agency fee if applicable.

“PINOS”

Join the cast of “PINOS,” an indie creature feature set deep in the wilderness of Mount Pinos. Production is now seeking union or nonunion actors with a strong social media following, aged 25–60, for supporting and day player roles. Talent will work in New Jersey in September. Pay is $436 for day players and $1,514 for one week of work for the supporting role.

“A Parable, or The Husband, The Wife, and The Taxidermist”

Casting is underway for a feature horror-drama film that will be structured like a piece of experimental theater and follow a Mormon wife who has an affair with a taxidermist, and the pair create a plot to kill her husband. Actors, aged 18 and older, are wanted for several lead and supporting roles, including the three titular characters. Rehearsals are scheduled for Aug. 17–22, followed by filming in Austin, Texas on Aug. 24–Sept. 19. Pay is $100–$250 per day for up to 12 days of work. Airfare and accommodations will be provided for out-of-state talent.

“The Bluest Sky”

Join the cast of “The Bluest Sky,” a feature dark comedy-drama film following a transgender chosen family that gathers on a summer evening to celebrate the memory of their beloved Sky, who took their own life exactly one year earlier. New York City and New Jersey-based actors, aged 18–55, are sought for supporting roles in the project, which will film on select dates through June and July in Boonton, New Jersey. Pay is $100–$200 per day for four or five days of work with train/gas reimbursement provided.
