Armstrong Productions is now searching for worldwide talent for an upcoming biopic of actor James Dean and his rise to fame in Hollywood in the 1950s. Talent, aged 18–60, is sought to play James Dean in the starring role, as well as Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando, John Steinbeck, and many others. Filming will begin in early 2027 in Los Angeles. Pay is up to $145,000 depending on the role, with flights, accommodation, and meals provided.

“Hamilton” Broadway, Singers & Dancers
Don’t throw away your shot to appear in the hit Broadway musical “Hamilton.” Production is seeking Equity singers and dancers, aged 18–30, for the chorus and swings. There will be chorus calls on Sept. 14 (singers) and 18 (dancers) in New York City. Start dates are TBD. Pay is $2,799 per week.

Diabetes Non-Profit PSA Commercials
East Coast actors, aged 20–55, are sought for a trio of roles in a pair of PSA commercials for a diabetes non-profit. Two of the roles require English-Spanish fluency. The other role will require talent to shave their head on camera. Filming is scheduled for mid-September in the Baltimore, Maryland, area. Pay is $4,000 with meal and hotel accommodations covered.

“Speciation”
Join the cast of “Speciation,” a gritty, grounded psychological survival thriller wrapped in a dark military conspiracy. Texas-based actors, aged 18–60, are sought for several roles in the film, including the lead and supporting trio of independent young women who head into the isolated backwoods for a wild weekend getaway, only to quickly realize they are being tracked by an escaped, genetically engineered hybrid anomaly from a covert military base. Production is also hiring multiple crew roles, including a director of photography. There will be a table read in Austin in early September, followed by filming in Rosanky over seven days in October. Pay is 100–200 for background talent, and 600–1,400 for all other roles. Crew will be paid 1,000–1,400. Copy, IMDb credit, reel footage, catering/meals, and on-set ground transportation will be provided.
