Pete Davidson is Making the Switch from Comedy to Horror by Starring in “The Home”
In a rare headline about Pete Davidson that actually centers on his career, it was announced that the “SNL” star will lead the upcoming Miramax horror thriller “The Home,” via Deadline. Set to be directed by James DeMonaco (“The Purge”), the story will follow Davidson as Max, “a troubled man who starts working at a retirement home and realizes its residents and caretakers harbor sinister secrets. As he investigates the building and its forbidden fourth floor, he starts to uncover connections to his own past and upbringing as a foster child.” DeMonaco and “The Purge” writer Adam Canto will write the script. Production is set to begin later in January. No further casting has been announced. Kathleen Chopin, John Ort, and Anne Davison are the casting directors.
