Following past successes with adaptations of her “It Ends With Us,” “Regretting You,” and “Reminders of Him,” Colleen Hoover’s work is back on the big screen with the not-to-be-missed “Verity.” Directed by Michael Showalter and starring Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, and Josh Hartnett, the psychological romantic thriller follows Lowen Ashleigh (Johnson), a writer hired to complete a bestselling book series after a mysterious accident leaves its original author, Verity Crawford (Hathaway), unable to do so. “Romantasy”
Join the cast of “Romantasy,” a short intimate comedy about following new parents Natalie and Roman, who struggle to find their way back to each other after the birth of their son and as Natalie escapes into an erotic audiobook populated by flawless faeries. A pair of actors, aged 21–40, are sought to star as Essia and Fayden, the protagonists of the erotic fantasy book Natalie is consumed by. Simulated intimate physical contact (kissing and cuddling) will be required; an intimacy coordinator will be present on set. Talent will work about an hour outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Oct. 7. Pay is $200 with food and reasonable transportation costs provided.

Casting is underway for “The Owl,” a short narrative psychological horror/uncanny thriller about a woman driving north on a freezing New England night to commit a calculated act of violence while her 19-year-old sister pursues her.
