Stella Tompkins Casting is seeking a female actor, age 35–50, and two child actors, aged 8–14, to play a mom and her kids going through the emotions of math homework in a comedic ad for Duolingo. Talent will work on July 22 in New York City. Pay is $750 for child talent and $1,500 for adult talent.

“Prior Bad Acts”
Join the cast of “Prior Bad Acts,” a contemporary legal drama based on a multi-award-winning short film about a former Marine wrongfully convicted of murder and the young public defender fighting for him. California-based actors, aged 18 and older, are wanted for several roles in the film, including the lead roles of Leroy Brown and Mike Hart. Filming is scheduled for Aug. 12–31 in San Francisco. Pay is $1,500–$2,500 for supporting talent and $3,000–$5,000 for lead talent; all other rates are TBD. Transportation, meals, copy, and IMDb credit will be provided.

Kids Hockey Commercial for Major Sports Brand
Los Angeles-based actors, aged 8–50, are wanted for an imaginative, family-oriented hockey commercial for a major sports brand, including the two lead child announcers. Talent will work in L.A. on Aug. 29. Pay is $300 for background talent and $1,200 for all other roles.

“Hellin,” Indie Horror Feature Film
Casting is underway for an indie horror feature film about a former club DJ struggling with addiction and isolation. A female actor, age 26–39, is sought for the starring role. Talent will work in San Diego over weekends between Sept. 12 and Nov. 15. Pay is $3,500 plus additional deferred payment.
