“For All Mankind” star Jodi Balfour is returning to Apple TV+. Balfour is the first actor announced for the upcoming third season of the streamer’s hit comedy “Ted Lasso.” According to Deadline, Balfour will play Jack, “a charming venture capitalist.” She will join the recurring cast that includes titular star Jason Sudeikis and the regular ensemble of Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster, and Nick Mohammed.
“Ted Lasso,” developed by Sudeikis, Hunt, Bill Lawrence, and Joe Kelly, is coming off its record-breaking 20 Emmy nominations and seven wins—including Best Comedy Series. The third season, which is currently filming in the U.K., is expected to drop sometime this summer.
