“Blade Runner 2099,” an upcoming sci-fi limited series from Prime Video, continues one of the most influential franchises in cinematic history. Building on Ridley Scott’s 1982 neo-noir classic, “Blade Runner,” and Denis Villeneuve’s 2017 sequel, “Blade Runner 2049,” the series expands the dystopian universe for the small screen.

Tom Burke (“Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga”) and Maurizio Lombardi (“Ripley”) will play recurring roles. Nothing is known about their characters, but they join a large ensemble that includes Hunter Schafer (“Euphoria”) and Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh (“Everything Everywhere All at Once”), who were both previously announced as series leads.

As details continue to be unveiled, we’ll provide updates. In the meantime, here’s what we know about the series so far.
